Re: Scarlett & Penny
Penny had made her rounds at the party earlier, ending them with the one man that seemed to know exactly how to turn her into putty in his hands, Wes Carlisle. They both were working hectic jobs, he was filming a new show that from the looks of the first episode would be a hit, and she had just opened her own business in August and it had been booming since then. It had been good to finally see each other, for however brief the moment was. She was certain that their relationship lived in stolen moments, like Morocco.
Wes was gone for now, and Penny had found herself seated at the bar. It was hard not to enjoy yourself when you just sat and people watched, especially in this beautiful atmosphere. She had to be sure to tell Eve just what a good job she had done. She was forever grateful the other witch had chosen such a wonderful theme. She had enjoyed finding her dress for the evening. Hair was done in large curls that were swept up and away from her face with little black feather clips. Make-up flawless as always, and shoes looked to be made of clear glass. Every now again she would lightly clink them together, while she took a drink from her champagne glass.
She had just taken a sip when the most beautiful blonde fell into the seat next to her. "Penny Ahuja, I own the oddities shop on Victory Road," she introduced herself with a sinful smile, unable to stop those black voids from passing over the blonde. "It's a pleasure to meet you," she said, not realizing the blonde was the same small girl that had been hanging around with Hailey's little sister so many years ago.
