Iris hadn’t exactly been disappointed that Kenzie had asked to reschedule. After enjoying socialising with the family at Carnival for a couple of hours, a brief moment of eye contact with Penny across the bar had made an excited sort of arousal pool low within her: Iris quickly made her goodbyes so that she could sneak away for some of the fun they’d promised each other. Iris ended up spending the night at Penny’s luxurious flat… and most of Sunday. She’d enjoyed the gorgeous witch in so many ways and while it wasn’t the sort of self-care she’d planned for that day, she couldn’t deny that she felt rejuvenated.
There was still a contented sort of aura to her when she stepped out of the fireplace and into Kenzie's flat. She’d spent the day cat napping, catching up on sleep that she’d missed, just pulling on a hoodie over the unicorn print pyjamas she’d been wearing. As she didn’t plan to move from Kenzie's sofa, even putting on a bra seemed like overkill.
She grinned at Kenzie’s verbal barrage, noting the scent in the air. "You might have mentioned it once or twice," she teased, taking the other end of the sofa and putting the bag of snacks that she’d brought between them. "And the club is closed so I’ll be able to watch it when it airs."
