It had been a long weekend. Kenzie hadn’t, thankfully, done anything too dumb. Just enough to keep herself isolated in her bedroom for Sunday. She had rescheduled with her cousin, citing a bad hangover.
Now that Monday had arrived, Kenzie was feeling at least slightly more herself. She had taken a long hot shower, smoked herself down, and made the entire building smell of pot because she was terrible at remembering to use the right spells to clear the smell. Her father would be so mad, but thankfully he wasn’t who was visiting today, it was Iris. She wouldn’t care, at least Kenzie hoped she wouldn’t care.
Clad in fresh pajama pants, a large shirt that had some wizarding band on it thrown overtop, and dark curls an absolute mess on top of her head in a wrap. She had done the bare minimum, not even putting in her contacts. She was all smiles as she heard the sound of her floo coming to life. Her cousin was on her way!
Kenz was seated on her sofa, one leg tucked up under herself, as the TV she was facing was paused on the opening to Sabrina. She waited until her cousin had come all the way through the floo, before assaulting her with words. “I’m so glad you’re here. I’ve felt like I was stuck in trailers with strangers for a bit,” she admitted, scooting herself into one corner of the sofa. “The show airs soon, have I told you that?” she asked, wanting to be sure she told everyone.
