She glanced briefly at the spider plant he'd motioned toward, then back to him. "Oh, I've got about ten, I think? I haven't been keeping count though." When Tina had left Miguel (or at least, when Juliet had thought she was leaving her husband), her cottage had been overrun with plants, and she had a sneaking suspicion that Tina had left a few behind on purpose, just making sure Juliet's cottage had more nature in it. She didn't mind, though.
His nerves were practically screaming at her in that moment, though, and she ignored his question. She brought her hands up, resting her palms gently against either side of his jaw. "Why are you so nervous?" she asked softly. She rather thought of the two of them, she ought to be the nervous one. She'd never been even this intimate with anyone before. It was all new to her at this point.
