That smile was infectious, it lit up her face. He was certain she was shining more, just a little. Her words had him starting a kettle for tea, a flick of the wand. Another, and there were s'more supplies starting to gather themselves from the cabinets. Wordless magic was a favorite of his, but he could only do small little things, like call supplies to him. A trick he had learned while tattooing.
"I love my plants, I tend to get them as gifts. Nan gave me a spider to start the collection and it has just sort of spiraled," he admitted, motioning towards the large spider plant hanging in the kitchen window on the other end of the living room. "How many have you collected? Rumor has it, once you get one, you suddenly have fifty," he said, rattling on about absolutely nothing. Was he nervous? He found he was incredibly nervous, this somehow felt so much more intimate. "Should we sit?" he asked nervously.
