Re: Beau and Phoenix
"Well, poppet, I need a little more before I can suggest anything," Phoenix quipped, angling his body toward Beaumont before nodding his head to encourage the man to follow him. There were many nooks and crannies at the Carnival, one of the many reasons he loved the club so much, and he knew Aloysius didn't mind if he made mild deals so long as he was discreet about it. The club owner knew Phoenix's wares were legitimate and not laced or cut with anything else, after all.
"My price isn't always monetary," he added once they were tucked away in a dark alcove, letting his voice take on a musical note of flirtation again, curious if Beaumont might be more receptive to it now that they weren't quite so visible. "Upper or downer?" he asked as quietly as he could and still have Beaumont hear him. He hadn't got the impression he was interested in a hallucinogen, though he did have a selection of those, as well.
