Though he couldn't be sure, Beau thought the man might be even taller than Nate. His thoughts seemed to go back to his old friend more often than not these days and Beau wondered if he was looking for similarities where there were none beyond height and build. No, he thought, both men carried an air of having far more going on than was visible on the surface.
"Beaumont." It was rare for Beau to use his full name, but since he hadn't been immediately recognised he took the opportunity to use a name that would give him a little bit of separation from the person so many people thought they knew. The lack of recognition was actually a relief. "A little birdie told me you're a good person to talk to if you're looking to... unwind." He felt that he needed something stronger than he could pick up at an apothecary.
