Re: The Introverts Table - Tina & Jules
Jules had noticed a while ago that Tina had gone darker in steps with her hair, and that had concerned her, but now it was clear that the whole situation was plaguing her worse than ever. "Oh love, you're not ruining anything!" she reassured her.
Holding her hands over Tina's hand, she said, "Focus on the thing." She gave Tina a moment to get her mind there, and then she enveloped Tina's hand between both of hers, closing her eyes as she embraced the visions. Her visions didn't typically include sound, so she wasn't surprised when she got flashed of a fancy dinner out between Tina and Miguel but couldn't hear what they were saying. She was surprised when Lyra showed up, and the Feelings that overcame her told her the story. She didn't even need the flash of Lyra and Tina talking in the breakroom at Flourish and Blotts to understand.
"Oh Merlin," she breathed, her eyes opening to look at Tina. "Miguel's the father of Lyra's baby?!" She loved Lyra dearly, they were practically cousins, and she was coming to care so much about Tina, too. What a mess! "Oh love, I'm so sorry. I thought you'd realized he wasn't right for you anyway?" she asked a beat later, confused because she'd really believed Tina had realized she was halfway in love with the lab partner.
