Alexander took the glass from her and filled it, the water turning the slightest shade of rouge. "I didn't mean you had to leave." He explained setting the glass down on the counter. "I was going to offer you the bed, I could sleep on the floor." He could feel himself over thinking this again and being misunderstood. Wasn't this technically their first real date? Was it too forward? He tried you drown out the multitude of questions whizzing through his head. "What I meant was if you felt comfortable you could stay."
