She nodded, "I can see that. About Egypt. I haven't spent much time there myself but one three day layover in Cairo was plenty for me." Thinking for a moment she added, "And Italy would be my favorite of the Mediterranean, though Istanbul gives it a run for its money." She gave him a small smile. It was weird talking about her travels - with friends she didn't need to, and with coworkers it just never really came up. It was almost like the engineers went out of their way to never make her talk about her family. They treated her like 'just another one of the guys' and she really appreciated it.
"What's for dinner? It smells really good," she said, wondering if that was too much of so-called 'small talk' or not.
