He grinned at her compliment, totally not even trying to hide it this time. He answered back in her native language, "Thank you, I wasn't sure if was 'too' pink," and then laughed. Sofia had taught him Spanish during their years at Hogwarts, actually, and while he would never be as good as her, he was happy he still got to practice with her. He was better when they were in school, especially as they had used the language to speak without other students knowing what they were saying - the ones who didn't speak Spanish, at least. He scoffed though and switched back to English, "Oh please, your father would have have been confused as heck if you'd gotten yourself a nice quiet desk job," he joked. Mr. Gomez was great, but definitely could be described as an adrenaline junkie, and Sofia - brilliant and soft and kind - had to have that trait, too, to become a Cursebreaker.
He followed her to the sofa with his tea and tucked in, "Not at the moment, it's been a lot of working through all the gala aftermath - fundraising tax reports are apparently a nightmare. I only have to help find things for them and I'm sick of it," he said with a chuckle.
