"I've been well," Fiona answered the question vaguely at first. "I don't really officially work here, though. It's my Aunt Zahara's shop, and they had someone call out today, so I'm filling in. It's quite nice, honestly, so I've been doing it a bit more lately. Things at the shelter just sort of hit a bit too close to home sometimes, so I've scaled back there a bit," she admitted softly, feeling safe enough with Becca, as someone who was in the same family of business, and it wasn't as though what had happened with her ex-husband was a secret.
"Would you like a spot of tea while you wait, love? It's complementary," she offered, motioning toward the little table with the tea and biscuits.
