There were a lot of thoughts racing through her head, so many questions. She couldn't seem to focus on anything, no one thought. Well... Except for one... What about their baby? Would they ever have a their baby? Or would it always be Miguel and the waitresses baby?
Irrationally, Tina gave in to the one instinct she couldn't shake. She wanted their baby, it was how they were going to make this work. She had convinced herself of that days ago when she'd asked Miguel to put the ring on her finger.
She climbed into his lap then, straddling Miguel. Slender fingers laced through his gorgeous hair that she loved so much, and she kissed him. She kissed with all of her need. That hungry need to feel loved, to feel wanted, to make this work with a man who loved her. She needed to feel more, more than just the hollow empty that she couldn't shake.
