Although he didn't know anything about Cassandra Vane--and hadn't bothered to go through her Winstagram to learn anything--she'd looked particularly delicious in her last post, and he'd impulsively commented. He'd almost ignored her responses a couple times, but Kenzie had to stay late on set, Violet was off doing who knew what with her music--he really needed to reach out to her more often, as he knew the life could get too busy to remember to indulge in one's personal life--and if he were being honest with himself, he was bored.
Deciding to go to The Carnival had been a whim, but he'd dressed in one of his favorite suits and headed out a little past the hour he'd told Cassandra. It caused a minor frenzy when he walked into the club, those closest to the entrance noticing and recognizing him. He smiled and tipped his head in acknowledgement of them, though he didn't stop to interact. He couldn't help but be curious if the woman who seemed to enjoy putting her tight little body on display on Winstagram had shown up.
The crowd was light enough that it didn't take him long to spot her at the bar. He wandered a bit until he was in her line of sight, catching her gaze and lifting his hand to run the tip of his forefinger over his lips for a long moment before he turned to make his way to one of the booths. Sitting, he watched to see what she might do.
