"It seems like a nice place," Dom agreed. The area had been rehabilitated over the last couple of decades and it was only really the older generations, the ones who still thought of the street as Knockturn Alley, who thought it wasn’t a good area to live or work in. She’d looked at several flats over the course of her search for somewhere new, but even from the pictures alone she'd liked this one.
She cringed in sympathy at the description of the last tenant. "I’m sorry you had to go through that." From that she had to assume that Addison lived alone - men, Dominique thought, seemed to stop doing that sort of thing when they thought they were encroaching on another man's territory. Which was a whole load of patriarchal grossness, in her opinion.
"Here you go." She passed Addison a bowl and spoon. "So are there any other neighbours I should keep an eye out for?"
