There were flaws with sending a letter, Nate rather thought, though it didn't feel like the time to be poking holes in the potential plans. "What if you tell Belle in person first, and then decide the rest?" he suggested. If he could get his sister as an ally, then maybe he could tell his parents in person, with her there with him for support. Though he did understand that just because it was the way he would probably do it if he were in Beau's shoes, didn't mean that would work for Beau. He wasn't going to push on it, regardless.
"We've made so much progress this century already, I don't think it's hopeless to imagine it," he pointed out. In the grand scheme of social evolution, they really had made loads of progress in a short amount of time. Nate was bursting with hope that they'd continue on that trajectory.
