Sighing, Nate wrapped his arms around Beau, holding him close. He could offer all sorts of suggestions up, ways for Beau to come out spanning from quiet and discreet to loud and extremely public, but now wasn't the time. For now, he really got the impression that Beau simply needed quiet support of even coming to the decision at all. Besides, he could share his ideas when Beau was at the point of actually needing them.
"I don't think I've ever pressured you to come out before you're ready," he reminded Beau gently. "I've always understood that most families aren't like mine." He paused, thinking over his words, considering how best to express himself in that moment while his hand rubbed light circles on his back. "And whatever capacity for support you need me, you've got me." Even if it never amounted to anything beyond friendship once Beau was out publicly. Nate held no expectations on Beau and was determined to continue with that mindset.
