Following her impulses, Jules set her food down and leaned over to wrap an arm around Holly, squeezing her gently. "Of course he wasn't going to say no, love," she said confidently. Because Holly was amazing. Though until Juliet was able to meet this man and get a read of him for herself, she would probably worry that this man might be drawn to Holly in part because she was the sole heir to a billion-galleon empire. She really hoped it wasn't the case and rather thought the universe wouldn't have sent her positive vibes when he and Holly had gotten back together if he were that sort, but she did feel rather protective over her.
She couldn't even begin to imagine sharing her space with anyone else. Hogwarts had been difficult enough, but it was bearable for the sheer fact that she'd never actually had her own space there. "Well, hopefully you won't have to travel so much indefinitely," she murmured hopefully. She wanted Holly to be around more, selfishly she knew, but she couldn't bring herself to feel guilty about it.
It seemed silly to summarily say that was all that had been up with her, but Jules wasn't going to argue it. She knew how difficult it was for Holly to even hint at working through her abandonment issues. But when Holly turned it back to her again, Juliet felt her own anxiety spiking, and she chickened out. Again. "Oh, umm. Well," she licked her lips. "I had an art show a few days ago, and I think I met someone?" She still didn't know how she felt about the tattoo artist who had sparked the psychic energy in her more than she'd experienced in a long time. "It was like he saw me? Kind of like how I see more than most people but different, too." Out of all of her friends, she'd told Holly the most about her strange abilities.
