Lee felt anxious for some reason. The big election was coming up but she put that aside as a possible reason why for her nervousness. It wasn't like whoever was prime minister really meant much to the folk who lived here. And it wasn't like there seemed to be much doubt about the outcome of the election. Everyone seemed to love Saxon. Why not? He seemed to be a good fellow in a pit full of vipers. She sighed and wished she could at least tell why she felt uneasy. If she could do that then maybe she could do something about it. On a whim, Lee decided to stop by Gray's room. Maybe spending a little time talking to him would make her feel better and get over whatever had her neckhairs on edge. She knocked on his door lightly, hoping not to accidently mess up whatever he might be working on. "Gray? You got a moment?" |

What: Rift storm then being dropped in London during the Year that never was.

Where: London
Rating: PG 13, it’s an apocalypse.
Open: Yeah, he’s tough but he will need friends.
The beach was peaceful at night, a warm breeze hit the sixteen year old blonde’s face as his young light blue eyes looked over the ocean and glanced at the bright stars once in awhile. There had been a big party to celebrate his acceptance into training for the Time Agency. He smiled and posed for pictures for his family and admirers of the boy who would be the first to join the Time Agency in their modest Boeshane Peninsula. Sun breathed in and let the weight on his shoulders slowly fall away as he laid in the still warm sand. He would be leaving in a few weeks, gone from the distant look in his mother’s eyes and the reminders of his father’s death. He was free now to search for Gray, to bring him home to finally accomplish his father’s last orders before he died. A flash off in the distance caught Sun’s attention and he raised his head and furrowed his eyebrows in a curious fashion. It wasn’t really the seasons for storms yet and it had been clear not but five minutes ago. The flashes became brighter and faster and before Sun could get up and move out of the way he felt something hot grab him and was covered with a light so bright he covered his eyes. His senses reeled and before could even scream his world went blank.
Sun awoke to a bitter cold compared to his home world. He was shirtless since he had just been laying on the beach. When his eyes focused he realized with horror that he face to face with a dead man. Judging by the smell he had been dead for a long time. He scrambled to his feet barely able to keep a scream from escaping his lips. He took a breath and looked around at his surroundings. Sun didn’t recognize anything around him as he looked down the deserted street. What kind of hellacious place had he been sent to he thought as he walked in a slight daze. |

Where: Somewhere in the US
When: About a month after the destruction of Japan
What: Telling the story of the Doctor to any who'd listen
She traveled for months now it seemed, the perception filter giving her some protection, but she learned quickly to travel as much as she could before needing to rest, to find pockets of resistance where she could, and where she couldn't to sleep in secluded areas hard to see from the sky. The world was a wasteland, she had seen the end of the world, and now she was fighting to save it's future. What exactly the Doctor intended to do, she still wasn't sure, but she knew that she needed to be back in London before a year had passed.
She was now in the United States, so close to being home, she knew, a few travels through the continent and then back to England. She'd learned to fight, and she learned to survive. She'd practised more medicine now than she had ever in the hospital. Now she was looking for a group of resistance fighters she heard were somewhere outside what used to be Chicago. There was a message to spread. |

Sarah sat high up looking over her the area assigned for her to guard. She was in her owl form which gave her a good advantage to her job. She ached for the long flights she used to do in this form. Alas not even animals were safe from the Toclafane's amusements. She ruffled her feathers and watched to make sure no one was trying to approach their resistance's secret headquarters. Rayven was off somewhere as was the strange other vampire Spike. The one that she had actually acquiesced to teaching her clan's ability to meld to the earth so that he could go traveling with his strange alien friend. She felt he would be leaving soon. He had almost learned the skill well enough to be safe in his travels. |
