Who: The Master & Lacey Where: On the Valiant When: A few weeks after taking over the world What: Ianto's not Lacey's brother Rating: PG for a change
The Master took one last look over the results of the DNA testing he had done. Human technology was primitive but it did tell him one thing definitively. Ianto was NOT Mystic's long last twin brother. Still... he could tell she was close to the lad, cared about him. Ianto Jones was an archivist, much like Lacey's first husband. Well... he was hoping for some more variety in the genetic pool.
The Master looked back over the real mystery of the results. The twins. They were related somehow to Ianto but also were somehow related to Mystic. Maybe the children of those two in stead of Joey? He chewed on his lip. Why would they lie about that? Because they didn't want him to know about Ianto not being related perhaps. That could be... he'd have to talk to Lacey about that, reassure her that he wouldn't harm the lad. After all, he did behave for all of their spouses before. He was more than willing to help her snag the lad even.
He sighed. Something about this was bother him though. If only he didn't have to rely on primitive technology. Well... he did have the TARDIS, and it would have better technology to figure this out with. Only problem was he couldn't bring the children there. The young Tavish couldn't handle being anywhere NEAR the TARDIS. And Meredith didn't like being away from her twin. He could drag Ianto and Mystic down there, but he already knew enough about their relationship, actually not relationship, to eachother. Well, he was sure time would explain everything. It was hardly important compared to everything else he had to deal with.
However, nothing was more important than letting Mystic know she had nothing to worry about. He understood. He gathered up the paperwork and strode off to find Lacey. After a bit of wandering he found her in one of the rooms on the ship. "Mystic! I've just had some interesting news. Can we talk?"
