n00b alert
Hello all! I'm Lindsey, and obviously, I'm brand spankin' new. I'm a recent college grad, role play addict, and jobless wonder. I'm very excited to get started and to play with all of you! It's been a while since I've been involved in an X-Men or comic-related game, so please, be gentle with me!

I'm bringing in Rogue. It's not my first time playing her, but it has been a while, and it's my first time playing her as being movie-canon and not comic-canon, so I'm really excited to explore the voice of this particular version. Now, there are many similarities to the Rogue from the movie, but there are also some differences, so hang with me while I try to summarize this. Like movie-canon, Rogue grew up in a white-picket-fence kind of world, but always wanted something more. And then she got it, and boy did it suck. So now she's chillin' in New York, has no money, and life pretty much sucks. In this version, Rogue met no awesomely awesome Wolverine in a bar, and so she's been on her own ever since leaving home. This has made her a little bit... darker, I guess, compared to the rather shy and sheltered Rogue we met in the movies.

As of right now, Rogue belongs to no affiliation. In fact, she hasn't been approached by either side. She's quite happily a mess in solitude right now. I have it figured that, unlike movie Rogue, she'll probably end up with the Brotherhood before she finds her way to the X-Men. I have a very small, tentative list of wanted scenes here (which will look prettier soon, I promise), and her profile is here!

So feel free to IM me anytime in order to plot! I love to scene and can't wait to get started!

OOOH. I'm looking forward to seeing a more comic-ish Rogue (re: not the docile wallflower that is Movie!Rogue...), so yay!

_cleric_ ), and soon to be everyone's favorite merc with a mouth(tm), Deadpool. Katie, at least, looks forward to meeting a badass chick ~~from the Moulin Rouge~~. Jono's interested in swapping "my life sucks more than yours" stories. Wade's just...Wade, and even though he's not officially in the game yet, he would like to let Rogue know that he is single and available and not afraid of the kinkier applications of her powers. Yes. He's that guy.

Yes! I mean. Movie!Rogue was fun. But I had to tweak it a bit to make sense within the world/the changes/the basic craziness of being a mutant who can kill via touch. Y'know, the basics.

Hello Amanda! Wonderful to "meet" you! Rogue also looks forward to meeting Katie, because I think that--eventually--Rogue is going to need a friend. Every girl needs a girlfriend, especially one that finds them to be a badass. Rogue is very looking forward to chilling with Jono and swapping those stories. Maybe over hard liquor. And lmao. Rogue would like Wade to know that she's totally willing to test this out, but mostly in the hopes that after five seconds, he'll be knocked out cold, and will of course, be shut up for a while.

	Hey - I wanted to start a thread with the Brotherhood either bumping into Rogue or them tracking her or something. Maybe one of them saves her from something. But I thought it'd be a good way to get her involved/involved with them. Thoughts? (Reply to this) (Thread)

	I think that sounds good. Whether they're tracking her/bump into her could be up to those of the characters that are in the Brotherhood. They could even set her up so that she uses her powers in public, or something equally craptastic (by her standards.) Then they could help her out of the scuffle and come out looking like the "good guys." (Reply to this) (Parent)

	Hey. :) I just wanted to see if you were still interested in playing. If not, it's cool. Lots of people are busy right now, but I (and Leigh, newly mod-ed) would like to know either way.
