The Application & Holds

This is the application! Remember when filling out an application that we don't need a novel, but details are nice. The more detailed the better. You may use a different version as long as the application includes these specific details.

Please fill it out and send an email to xemplify.rp@gmail.com with the character name followed by the word application (example: "Storm Application"). You can also post your application and link to us here. All comments are screened.

For the most part, this game is limited to Marvel Comic characters only. More specifically, those of the X-men universe. All others, including those involved in "crossover" issues, will be denied. There are more than enough characters from the X-universe, even obscure ones, that can be applied for if a person will just take the time to look around. If you're having trouble, try the Marvel Wiki.

There are also certain mutants within the Marvel/X-men Universe that are not playable in this game because they are either too powerful, dead, or will just mess up the reality too much. You could probably make your case for why you think one should be removed from this list, but it would have to be a good one.

These characters and pbs are being held. All holds expire after one week unless otherwise noted. Extensions can be granted, but only one per player per character.

BEFORE you place a character on hold, it might be a good idea to check the Wanted Characters Page. The lines that are listed are guaranteed to produce plot and, more likely than not, the application process will be quicker and easier for them.

We will accept Original Characters at this point. However, please bear in mind that in original characters, you will have an easier time getting accepted if the power affects the mutant himself/herself more than it affects others. Also, at the moment, we are not taking any more characters that have psychic shielding or healing abilities, unless they canonly are known for having such.

Bold names are Marvel characters; regular text are PBs and OC codenames. At this stage, all original characters previously in game have been treated as canons for the purposes of keeping game history intact. If you would like a hold, please comment with your name and your hold request. This should include the character's name (if canon), their pb, and/or their original codename.

Upon acceptance in the game, or upon picking up a new character, players are obligated to do the following when possible:

- Post your character's information to the Cast List. Please follow the format in the text box:
Name: Codename: Journal: Position: (position taught if teacher / grade if student / brotherhood / independent) Faction: (x-men / junior x-men / brotherhood / independent / none) Occupation: Played By: Image To Use: (Please make sure its a nice quality, big picture. It should be in color and your character's face should be clearly visible. Also, does this need to be manipulated a certain way?)
- Post your contact information and/or leave notification of your new character on the Contact List when available. There is no need to remind us that you need to be added. We know that new players need to be added and the list will be available as soon as you join xemplify. Just being friended by the mod journal does nothing.
- And for anyone that wants to add one, you may add a Wanted Character to our list.

This all is being done in order to help the mods and coder keep all information up to date.
