What: Rex tries to pick Sarah up!

When: Saturday afternoon
Well, it was December, and the UK finally decided that it should be cold - bitterly cold. Rex was wearing a dirty pea coat (screw the cloaks required by the school - it was a weekend), a pair of old, tattered jeans, chuck taylor sneakers, and a vintage scarf tied tightly around his neck. He definitely looked the part of a rock star today. He was aware that he had exams soon, but to be honest, he had no intentions of studying right now. Rex loved the winter - he loved seeing girls bundled up in their cloaks and scarves and their cheeks turning flushed from the cold. Today was a scouting day - he was going to look for a cute girl to get warm with on such a cold day.

WHAT: Cocoa!
WHERE: The courtyard nearest the library
Fionn had gone down to the kitchen and fetched two tall mugs of dark chocolate cocoa. He had a bag of marsh mellows and a pair of candy canes in his pocket and he walked towards the courtyard smiling. It may have been still November, but without Thanksgiving in this country to be a buffer between holidays, Fionn was already in the spirit.

What: Band meeting
Where: The classroom
When: Saturday afternoon
Rex sat at his drumset, waiting for Katie and Aurelia. He had called a band meeting, even though he wasn't band leader per se (but he was the only guy in the band, so by default, he assumed he was the leader), because he decided that they needed to decide on a name and the direction the band was going to take - whether or not they were going to be serious about getting into the music industry. Obviously they all had their connections, but he wanted to make sure they were as serious as he was. Plus, the more Aurelia saw him, the weaker he thought she would get and he'd finally get what he wanted.

When: Saturday afternoon
Noah was on the green by himself on saturday, excusing himself for a few hours from his studies, justifying it by saying he was getting some exercise. He had a football, and he was dribbling around a tree, kicking it between two bushes as a goal. It was difficult to play by himself, but he was just trying to clear his mind from everything.

What: Talking about the whole parent thing

When: Just after Emerson's journal entry
Rating: Low? High? Possible NC-17 rating due to these boys are their hormones? Who knows!
Reed was eager to see Emerson and find out how seeing his parents had gone. As far as he could tell it had not gone well, but what did that really mean?
After convincing a Slytherin to let him into their common room he took the stairs to Emerson's room and knocked lightly on the open door. "Knock knock," he said, looking in. Emerson was curled up in the window, staring out over the lake. Well, if you could really call it staring out over the lake.. it was more like, staring at water height of the lake. Walking towards him he pressed himself against his back and put his arms around his middle. "Hey you."

What: Reed goes to Emerson's bedside after he hears what happens

When: Just after breakfast
Rating: Lowish?
Reed had been late to breakfast and had therefore completely missed seeing Emerson. It was only when he was back in the Gryffindor common room, he had first period free, that he'd had a chance to look over the journals. What he saw had him on his feet immediately and running out the door.

WHERE: Empty classroom
WHAT: Fionn's painting. Mason drops by.
WHEN: Tuesday after classes.
Fionn had a canvas apron draped over his waist to stop himself from slopping paint on his school slacks. He'd taken off his tie and dress shirt and was just wearing a white A-shirt, it was his undershirt. It had paint on it. He stepped back an examined the canvas. So far it was a very impressionistic representation of his subject. It wasn't at all detailed, but it was the first layer of paint. Refinement would come later.

Rex sat at his drumset, playing along while Aurelia played a song on the keyboard. Katie had suggested that he try to collaborate with Aurelia, so he had taken her suggestion, thus explaining Katie's marked absence from their rehearsal session. In truth, he was just trying to figure out how to crack her innocent barrier and try to hook up with her. Yes, he really was that sleazy.

What: Brewing "the" potion

When: Saturday afternoon
After their last experience, Rose decided that it was imperative to start brewing the potion - she didn't trust herself to resist in the future, and she DEFINITELY didn't want to wind up pregnant. However, at this point, she was willing to admit that Scorpius was better at potions than she was, so she needed his help to make sure they got it perfect.
