He replaced the sandwich quarter where it had been before turning to his own. It was very satisfying, and much easier to eat than the soup had been. After his battle with the cheese, he'd decided to throw it on top of his chips and tackle those with a fork and knife. It had seemed to be a good plan so far.
Having some more water, he looked across the table. "I think it's harder work than a lot of people assume. But I can't really see myself doing something else anymore, you know?"
