"That's true," Orsino nodded. "I guess usually it's more of who's with who on a weekly basis. Suddenly you get someone sticking around for a bit longer and it's all," He waved his hands around in emphasis. "The world is coming to an end, stop the presses, alert the paparazzi. But yeah, Elizabeth would probably appreciate sharing that in common with someone."
He grinned, then perked up when he caught sight of their waitress approaching. Waggling his eyebrows once or twice at Donaghan, he gave him a nudge with his foot under the table and for a moment looked positively devious. The girl drew up to their table with the tray and doled the food out to its proper owner. After refilling their drinks, she was on her way, possibly with more haste than before.
"Wonder if she heard us?" Orsino muttered as he attacked his soup with a vengeance.
