"I can do that," Niki agreed. He liked Diamond. He felt somehow important when he went there, with all the rich, posh people. Even though many gave him sideways looks and murmured behind their hands. Niki was used to that - and good at not paying them any mind.
He lifted his sandwich again and took another bite. Some of the mayonaise slipped over his fingers and he licked it off with a swipe of his pink tongue.
"Oh. I can stick around. I don't have anywhere to be." Which was the truth most of the time. Niki was between jobs at the moment - and he didn't exactly have a booming social life. When he went out, it tended to be at random - to sit in a dirty bar, or to wander through Knockturn Alley and other such things.
