Greg had made his purchases, as quickly as he could. The clerk had had to go in the back, to find the new shipment that had come in. And the entire time, Greg had been trying to wait patiently, tapping his fingers on the counter.
When it seemed like ages, the man finally emerged. Greg quickly bought the bag of tea, a tea meant to help Theo sleep, and he headed to the exit, worried about what he would find. The sight that met his eyes did nothing to ease those fears.
"Theo! Bloody hell," he said, cursing under his breath so he wouldn't alarm Theo more, "Heh! Theo! What's this? Let's get up, buddy," he said as he approached a crumpled Theo who was clearly distressed. Greg glanced at Niki, not blaming him but clearly not too impressed, "I guess he was a bit much," he offered as he crouched down himself.
"Theo, come here," he said, putting out an empty had to the other.
