It was a celebration! And they had been celebrating hard. Stephanie had been a little apprehensive about taking the job with Ellie, and she supposed she still hadn’t entirely said yes yet, but she had made the decision to, and that pretty much decided the matter. She was certain that she wouldn’t go to the girl and be turned down. After all, it kind of seemed as though Ellie really wanted this. The artist had always had trouble saying no to others, so after contacting her “Seer” and finding him to be totally useless in deterring her, she had decided that maybe it wouldn’t be such a terrible thing to paint a mural.
As a result of both her coming to terms with doing something permanent and the excitement, she and Stephen might have had a little too much to drink. She was a giggling fool by that point. Still with the bottle nearby, the individual glasses forgotten. And Stephen, he was sitting there with her equally as pissed, or so she thought. There were lots of things she thought about saying, little confessions bubbling right there at the tip of her tongue.
She was uninhibited. That was no surprise. Generally, Stephanie was a very friendly drunk, though she refused to believe that drunk was quite the term. Tipsy...alright, sloshed. She laughed. Firewhiskey sloshed in the bottle too! She looked at her best friend with a wide grin, already leaning against him, but slouching there against the couch, “Hey, Stay-fan,” she laughed a little bit, “Did ‘ya know you have...pretty eyes?” she sighed a bit, blowing her bangs out of her face.
