longest of longshots, but sometimes i still think of this one person at gj from orlando who was super into lotr and buffy (basically everyone in the 00s) and we would both fan over billy boyd. they wanted to open up a themed bar where the tagline was "they come in pints!" or something like that. i can't for the life of me remember any of their journal names, but i hope they're doing well!

Hi.
I mean no disrespect to the moderator or the members of this community. But I noticed some people from GJ wrote there there like me for years.
I'm 38 myself and I started a group in IJ for writers over 30. Of whom a lot, I assume migrated from GJ like a lot of us did? So I will respectfully leave my ad here, under an IJ cut. If the moderators or moderator of this community see it unfit.
I apologize to everyone for the boldness and I ask him or her to remove it on my behalf. I honestly mean no harm. I just thought it could and might even help bring some people together too. Which is what this community seems to be about.

Super long shot, but if you played a game set at Walt Disney University, and played Jasmine or Jayne (PB: Kristen Bell, I think), both of whom interacted with Stefan Borzokov (PG: Jared Padalecki), the giant, moody Russian student, you were both awesome. Jayne was a tiny bundle of glitter, joy, and empathy, and Jasmine was so composed and elegant and smart.
Same game, you played Scout, who was a version of Ariel, and she was dating Jude, a version of Quasimodo (PB: Jackson Rathbone). Scout was a bubbly rainbow of sweetness. You were also awesome.
In short, I've been reading old tags, and you all were great at a time in my life when I really needed it. So if you happen to see this, know that game made a difference for me. If you're still RPing, I'd love to reconnect.

This was way back in the old days of GJ in Harry Potter-verse. I used Romola Garai for Mandy Brocklehurst, and you used Diego Luna for an original character (whose name is on the tip of my tongue). Basically they were in a romance that should be been ~forbidden~ because he was a young teacher in his first year at Hogwarts. He had been a few years ahead of her, they had both been in Ravenclaw, and had been friends for years before that. If I remember correctly, we took them to a couple of different games. If you're still around I'd love to start that back up.
Also, whoever had the AIM login ~blkassassin? Are you still around? That would have been even farther back when AOL was popular and there were tons of Rhy'Din-related chat rooms.

i played geordie gray against aaron porta about a year ago. a very random and specific pair. i have no idea what happened, it was semi-short lived, but i still have the sn added and miss that line like crazy. it died off just as things were starting to pick up.

About the only two details I can remember were a neil patrick harris and the game cry wolf, it was a game a bunch of players played (one being NPH) in a community on GJ. I doubt anyone from that time is still around, but I've been thinking about it a lot and just wanted to say, hey you all still rock and those were some good RP times.

I would also love to find anyone that played at ashes_to_ashes way back in the day at GJ circa 2005.
Or anyone that was part of Marriage Deals, I think that was the name, it was a HP game on GJ where there were marriage contracts forced on people. My Rabastan ended up married to Luna and it was the best crack ever!

Just hoping. I don't remember the specific game we played in, but you played Julian McMahon. I played Kate Bosworth. My username was bosk. I liked to spam you a lot. We did a game for a while, and then PSLing for a bit. Here's hoping! I actually have a bit from one of our old AIM scenes we did here.
After some googling and thanking the internet for saving everything, his aim name was "julian be good" and his username was mcjulian, or something similiar, and we were in bossmen!
