One mile is between 2000 and 2500 steps
No seriously! If you have work to do or you are walking/exercising outside of your normal daily routine, keep track of those steps. You might be amazed at how many steps you rack up. I sure was. As a matter of fact, when I was done, I treated myself. DH had wee one out for a while, so I hopped in my car and drove to the community pool. I relaxed in the chill blue water letting my muscles cool down. It was sooo nice! I sure earned it.
If you have young children and a dish tv, you have very likely seen a show called Franny's Feet. So I now ask myself in the morning, "Where will my feet take me today?" It puts me in the mood to walk.
