Hanging Out Before Practice
Who: Michael, Cookie, Dominic
Where: Auditorium
When: Monday, after school and before dance practice
Content: Some of the Vocal Adrenaline members decide to take it easy before the stress of dance practice.
Summary: No Adult Content/Work Safe
Whoever thought he'd come to think Monday was his favorite day of the week?
Mondays mean only one afternoon rehearsal. Since he's lucky enough to have a study hall his last period, Michael has finished the day's homework early. After rehearsal, he goes straight to Swirly's till it closes. He's not normally one who needs a whole lot of downtime, but this is an exception.
Mikey's sitting in third row center of the auditorium. His feet are propped up on the seat in front of him. He's slouched with his head against the back of the seat. Eyes closed, he absentmindedly strums the strings on his guitar. It starts out with no specific tune; he switches from chords to individual notes, from slow to frantic strumming. After several minutes, though, he finally settles into a casual, even strumming. It's an older song he chooses to play.
After playing the opening measures, his voice lifts to sing along with his playing. He's singing just loud enough to be heard by anyone close by.
Saying I love you
Is not the words I want to hear from you
It's not that I want you
Not to say, but if you only knew
How easy it would be to show me how you feel
More than words is all you have to do to make it real
Then you wouldn't have to say that you love me
Cause I'd already know
His eyes remain closed, though his body language suggest he's not against company.
(Mod, it wouldn't let me remove tags, I apologize!)
