After much deliberation, I've decided that I am closing my bookshop to the general public. The only reason why I kept my business was as a pretense to live among humans, and as a grand excuse to keep my bosses from complaining about my ever growing book collection. Having pesky customers coming by is something I will not miss.

Instead, the establishment will be rebranding (as they say) to a reading library. You may come browse, sit, read, and drink some delicious, hot tea. But only upon prior request or invitation. And books will most definitely not be checked out and removed from the premises.

Here's a fun question - do you have any suggestions as to what I could dress up as for All Hallow's Eve?

How do you decide who'd be invited to read them?

I suppose that would be on a person to person basis.

Were you interested in paying a visit?

That makes sense and it's a good way to actually get to know people.

Maybe? I was mostly curious about how you'd decide that sort of thing.

I'm assuming you're not trying to make a living on this invitation-only library.

Fortunately, that's not a necessary concern for me.

As long as making a living isn't something you need, sounds like a pretty great set up to me.

Being ethereal has it's benefits. Yes, I think this will be a splendid arrangement, indeed.

Your bookshop was open to the general public? I've been missing out.

That was before my arrival. Not the first one. I don't even remember my first one. My first arrival and disappearance. My shop was then being managed by somebody else.

I don't remember my first arrival and disappearance either. Would you mind if I brought my sister by the shop sometime?

I've collected them throughout the years, so many of them are first editions or ones that you don't commonly find. I have quite a variety, but I'm mostly proud of my poetry and religious selections. Oh, and divination.

I've some lovely first editions as well! I don't have much in religion or divination though. I do have a first edition Nostradamus though. Do you happen to have Mother Shipton? I bet she's a blast to read.

The ones I permit to come, I'll trust to be respectful and not spill any tea.

Should an unhappy mistake be made, I could always miracle it away... but I would rather not.

So, don't think you can sprinkle tea all over, willy nilly!

I suppose an interview of sorts would be in order.

My deepest sympathies. I don't want to dwell on the thought of arriving here without my shop. It was bad enough when it had burned down, but at least then I didn't actually see it, and in the end, it was returned, whole.

That has crossed my mind. I did take on his appearance to thwart Hell, and it was good enough to fool them. However, don't you think that would be somewhat expected? An angel dressing up as a demon? Or, in the same vein, an angel dressing as an angel?
