Some important lessons learned today.
By the group of youths who heard me having a discussion with the table I was face down on in a coffee shop: do not trust a random stranger speaking French to tables, you will learn every curse he knows but he will lie about their meanings and you will probably use them in your essays or whatever it is that students here do. Do they have essays still or has that been done away with?
By myself: stop talking to yourself in public. People are nosy. Or at least les jeunes are. That seems to be a constant wherever you go, at least. That is a comfort.
