this makes me incredibly disheartened. I'd eaten there on previous trips to Kabul. The owner was among those victims, and he was probably one of the nicest men I've met overseas. I am sorry to see his life cut short, but knowing him, I am sure he was trying to protect his patrons and not hiding.
I am glad I am no longer to be sent on missions to these areas. I'd only be prone to searching out those who do these and kill them without orders. I suppose that is the nature of someone who's lost too many to these kinds of attacks.
