Who: Harry and Ginny
What: um. yeah. /cough
When: Thursday night [backdated]
Where: Ginny's (well, their) flat
For all that he'd mostly managed to keep his composure around Zach Smith after initially almost losing his temper, something inside Harry had snapped. He had been dealing with the aftermath of the war, or so he thought, but maybe he'd just been pushing it back; it had all come rushing back when he'd admitted to feeling guilty about Cedric's death, weighing on him. It didn't weigh him down, though, the way it had done in the past; guilt made him angry, belatedly furious at Voldemort and his Death Eaters, angry about every single death he remembered - and as he'd told Zach, he truly did remember every single one he'd ever known about.
He went back to work even more vehemently motivated to learn than before, to ensure that every dark wizard was stopped, that the world would never have to endure anything like Voldemort again. And he worked himself harder than he ever had, but that didn't mean the new skills came any easier to him. Some of them he did accomplish through sheer willpower, but he could only see where he hadn't succeeded.
Moody had to make him stop, eventually, and go home. Earlier than usual, in truth, because he had packed so much into the afternoon hours with all his extra energy, but it was still close to dinner time. Harry wasn't hungry, though. He was still worked up, no longer seething, but frustrated with his inability to do anything right.
Stepping out of the Floo, he looked around, unable to decide whether he thought it would be better or worse if Ginny were home right now. He'd decide once he found out which it was, he supposed. "Ginny?"
