It was a good thing. The sound of Ginny's voice made the tension in Harry ease just a bit, his shoulders relaxing ever so slightly. He let out a breath, and raised his hands to his face, rubbing his eyes under his glasses. By the time she appeared, he was smiling slightly, unbelievably glad to see her. He wasn't surprised that she asked how he was, though. It had been a very long day.
"It's been a long day," he said, moving forward. He smiled at her, hands lifting to thread into her hair, and leaned down to kiss her. He couldn't really stop himself from putting what he was feeling into the kiss, even though he normally tried to keep from taking out any negative emotions out on Ginny. It wasn't quite the same thing, though, it just translated into heat. "Better now, though," he murmured, eyes closed as he paused for breath.
