This puppy is sapping my ability to do good in the world. He just sits on the bed and makes adorable faces and I can't resist.

Yes, the Champion of Kirkwall is easily distracted by adorable puppies (and also kittens, but we don't have any of those). What of it?

Don't worry, I won't work any of that into my novel. It'd implicate me as well, since he makes me squeak, which is completely against everything I was ever taught to be as a dwarf.

It'd be a little embarrassing for the both of us. Especially since "Hawke slayed the Arishok (again, for good measure), and then proceeded to go 'IT'S SO CUTE' over a puppy" just doesn't sound right.

Or you could adopt the dead Arishok's puppies. Nothing like the newly orphaned to bring tears to someone's eyes.

Now, that I like. Sounds a lot more heroic and noble.

Which you are, Hawke. I always make you out that way. I'm a truth teller, you know that.

You exaggerate a little. Qunari invasions in my nightclothes, ripping the arms off ogres... worth it for the looks on people's faces when you tell them, though.

You forgot beating the Qunari over the head with the ripped off ogre arms.

Of course! How could I forget that?

Oh no! I think I do that too!

The sitting on the bed and being adorable? Or just the moment of 'Oh, Maker, it's so cute!' whenever he does it to you?

Because I know you do enough of the first one. It's why you're my favourite distraction.

The first. I don't want to sap your ability to do good!

He still needs a name.

You make sure I do good, don't worry.

He does. Can't call him 'pup' all his life... you have any ideas?

Good. We'll have to make sure... I can't think of a name, either! We'll make sure the pup fights for good, too.

Ooh, Anders sent me a postcard! He said he watched women expose themselves and that he should be home soon!

He's our dog. He'll be sure to chew on bad guys when he gets bigger, I bet.

...Anders must've been to a very interesting place to have seen that. It'll be nice to have him back, though - still owe him a hug.
