[private] I don't know if I should feel this way, but I do. I feel like I'm behind and have to catch up to everybody. All the mutants have had their powers since at least puberty, and all the Jedi have had the Force their entire lives. And here I'm the 25-year-old apprentice and trainee. Even Luke started training at 18. I'm too old. Too old to be starting this and change how I think and fight. I don't know if I know how to function in this world, especially with the Force against so many other kinds of powers and abilities. I feel useless. Even other skills I have, like as a medic, seem pointless next to people here who can heal anything in a matter of seconds. I don't have a purpose here.

[Master Qui-Gon] If Anakin was too old start training at 9, why am I not too old at 25? Is there even any point in me trying to "catch up"?

[X-Factor] I want to spar with any of you, if you're interested. See how the Force works with, rather against, mutant powers. If it does at all. Anakin? We should definitely spar or something, if you promise to go a little easy on me at first.
