Lucifer was going up to the bar to see Tony, but when he got there, Tony was dancing on a table. So instead he allowed himself to be distracted by the sight of Lady Mary, drink in hand.

"See, it would be so much better if this place was open all the time," Lucifer mentioned. "I mean, you probably disapproved of the idea of drinking in public at all before you arrived here, and yet here you are now," he said cheerfully.

	Mary gave Lucifer a look at his comment, not wanting to confirm that he was right. She was happy to see him though, as evidenced by the kiss she placed on his cheek after he sat down. In her defense, she was already two gins in and had a nice buzz going. "If that were the case, I might not leave, which might cause me to act very unladylike." (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	Well, that was unexpected, but Lucifer smirked as Mary kissed him. "I knew you wanted me," he said, his voice almost triumphant. But then he grinned and glanced at the glass in her hand. 	"I don't want you," she replied, rather used to his flirting by now. It was fun, if she didn't think about the fact that he was the Devil. Mary put her glass down on the counter. "No?" Lucifer asked, feigning disappointment. He didn't quite believe her.

"And I don't want to corrupt you, Lady Mary. I just want you to live your life the way you wish to, rather than how you've been taught that you should. And I think there are things you've never done that you wish you could."

When the bartender came with a new drink for Mary, Lucifer placed his order, and then leaned into the bar, regarding her casually. "I know I'm not wrong," he mentioned.

	Mary glanced at him, her eyebrows raised, as she started on gin number four. This really had to be the last, or else she would be quite drunk in public. "Is that so? How would you know what sort of things I want to do?" It depended what he meant, but of course there were things she was free to do now that she had never been free to do at home. Mary found herself staring into his eyes, her own wide with surprise. Her answer was so immediate and matter of fact that she almost didn't recognize her own voice.

"I want mind-blowing sex with a gorgeous man who knows how to make me orgasm."

She literally gasped and clapped a hand to her mouth as soon as the words were out. Her cheeks were crimson. Had he somehow compelled her to reveal that? She couldn't possibly be so drunk that she would tell him something like that.

	"What...? How...?" Mary was mortified. Maybe she really was that drunk. She stared at the glass of gin, hesitant to drink more of it. Although now that the words were out, she couldn't exactly take them back. "It has been... a while. Even though women in my time aren't supposed to enjoy sex... I do." "How did I get you to tell me what you most desire right now?" Lucifer asked. "It's this little thing I can do."

She was clearly embarrassed though, and he actually felt slightly bad about that. "There's absolutely nothing wrong with that I can most assuredly tell you that you weren't alone back in your time and you certainly aren't now. So! Since I can't sleep with you myself, who in this bar is most likely to help you accomplish that particular goal?"

Perhaps she ought to be livid with him for using some sort of mind trick on her, but she wasn't. Maybe it was the alcohol, or maybe it was rather freeing to be honest, even if the conversation was wildly inappropriate.

Mary gave a little scoffing laugh. "I doubt any of them," she said defensively. "And why do you think I would want to sleep with you?"

Because he was a handsome, charming man. Even Mary knew the answer to that.

	She could feel herself shiver at both his words and his confidence, and she tried to laugh it off. Her laughter came out as a giggle. It was suddenly quite hot in the lounge. 	If there was any remaining doubt, that vanished as he observed her. Bloody hell, he was being a tease. "It does," he admitted. "I've never been one to say no to any opportunity before." "Mmm, I haaave," she replied in a singsong voice. "Even if it hasn't been in front of you." Mary finished the drink in front of her and knew that would have to be it. She was decidedly drunk in public. Fortunately that consisted of her being giggly and touchy. Mary put her hand on his shoulder. "You wish you could bed me though, don't you? What kind of a lady would I be if I bedded the Devil?"

	Mary leaned in, still laughing lightly until her lips were close to his ear. "You are a tease though, Lucifer. Asking me a question like that." "Where are you planning on going?" Lucifer asked, shaking his head in amusement as she fell into him. "Easy there," he said, reaching his arm around her to hold her in place.

Finishing his drink, he set the empty glass down on the bar and then carefully slid off the stool, still holding her. "Where do you want to go?" he asked her, meeting her eyes. She was definitely drunk, and as amusing as that was, he wanted to give her the option of getting out of there in case she didn't want to regret being so openly intoxicated.

"I want to seeee the captain," she trilled, her voice a bit louder than usual. "He's kind of handsome, isn't he?" Mary giggled again and hugged Lucifer, partially for support and partially because he was big and warm and felt nice. The captain was big and warm and probably felt nice too.

Whatever rational part of her brain that still existed told her that she needed to leave because if she didn't soon, she would probably make a complete fool of herself and would never live it down.

"Or maybe sleep," Mary added.

"Oh do you?" Lucifer asked, clearly amused, but he was quickly ushering her toward the lift, hoping it wasn't about to get stuck again. Once inside, he held onto Mary, who was already more than a little unsteady on her feet. He was quite relieved when the lift dropped them off at their corridor without any issue.

"Well, I think we're going to go with option B tonight, if that's alright with you," he said, leading her back to her room. The fact that she apparently had a thing for the captain wasn't lost on him, but he'd tease her about that later, when she was sober.

Instead, for now he brought them to a stop in front of her room and waited for her to get the door open.

"Mmm..." she replied, leaning into him as they walked. He was pretty much leading at this point, and she was going wherever he took her.

Mary fumbled with the card that opened the door to the suite she shared with Jadzia. The lights inside were dim. She either wasn't in or was already asleep. Another few steps and they were at her bedroom door, which slid open quietly.

Once they were inside, Mary turned and put her arms around Lucifer, still giggling. "You managed to talk your way in here after all," she teased. She moved up on her tip toes so that she could kiss his jaw. She hadn't realized how tall he was until now.

"Oh, alright," she said with a wave of her hand. Mary sat down on the bed and reached down to take off her shoes, feeling the blood rush to her head. It was dizzying, and she had to pause for a moment before continuing.

When Lucifer came back, he would find her in her underwear, which for her constituted a camisole and panties. She had tried some of the new-fangled brassieres but they still felt awkward to her. The camisole was much more comfortable.

Mary grinned at him when he returned. "Mmm, you're kind of handsome too. That's on purpose, isn't it?"

	"Well, that was quick," he mentioned, returning to find Mary stripped down. He handed her the glass of water and took off his blazer while leaving his shirt decisively on, before sitting down next to her.
