Weather: Scattered clouds, a little humidity. High of 78.Monday, March 28th (Canwyn 8)
- Aurellians at both manors receive the day off to attend services at the temple.
- Aurellian-run businesses are closed or operating under restricted hours today.
- Services take place on Sunday and are a small and generally subdued affair, due to so many Aurellians who are sick. Robor Howell delivers the service at the Temple as usual, and Danu Llewellyn visits the sick ward at Rosier and conducts his own version of the service (with permission from the Rosiers). In both services, the focus is on a passage from Canwyn that highlights the beauty of fading flowers, and how they are just as beautiful and important as flowers that new and colorful.
- Because so many Bound Aurellians are afflicted with illness and staying at Rosier, Dr. Rosier (grudgingly) agrees to administer Fade to those in the sick ward. Though the injection site will still sting and itch, bound Aurellians suffering from withdrawal will begin to feel noticeably better within a few hours of receiving their injection, and most will be fully recovered by the afternoon or early evening, though Dr. Rosier recommends that they stay one more night for observation.
- Danu Llewellyn hears Admission in the evening.
Weather: Light drizzle in the morning, opening to a brief rainstorm in the afternoon. High of 69.Tuesday, March 29th (Canwyn 9)
- Quarantine is officially lifted at 8 am that morning, and bound Aurellians are free to return to work. Dr. Rosier, who has barely slept since Friday of last week, crawls into bed and does not emerge from her room for several days.
- Lord Valéry Daillencourt arrives at Rosier Manor for a surprise visit.
- Danu Llewellyn leaves on the afternoon train to attend a (slightly postponed) Council meeting in Castyll.
- A town clean-up is organized to clear away the remains of the Turning flowers, to the relief of most of Glynn’s Clovennian population.
Weather: Clear. High of 77.Wednesday, March 30th (Canwyn 10)
- Beau Rosier announces that he’s offering free fencing lessons to the community.
- Stereotypical trivia night continues in the upper room Ceddon’s Bounty, and it is better-attended tonight, given that the train tracks are fixed.
- Robor Howell hears Admission in the evening.
Weather: Strong sun. High of 82.Thursday March 31st (Canwyn 11)
- Canwyn’s Tooth bakery sets up a little stand in front of its shop and sells scoops of lavender and rosewater ice cream to beat the heat.
- Emmy Delany celebrates her birthday today.
- Nena Cousteau headlines at Antoine’s Blues Palace, drawing a significant crowd.
Weather: Intermittent clouds. High of 78.Friday April 1st (Canwyn 12)
- Ahead of Belailles Fashion Week, Clovennian media is aflutter with discussion on the next hot look. Famed designer Cristophe Vega has let it slip to a major magazine that Aurellian inspired florals were a major influence for his new collection.
- A meteor shower occurs in the evening to the delight of Glynn’s Astronomy Enthusiasts’ Club. It is best visible just after midnight when the sky is clear.
Weather: Breezy and clear. High of 84.Saturday, April 2nd (Canwyn 13)
- Today is Canwyn’s Pluck, a convivial non-state holiday popular with children and the childlike. The primary celebration consists of pinning brightly colored feathers to the hair and shirt-backs of friends and family without their notice. Traditionally the pinning of a white feather to someone indicates that the pinner has a crush on the pinnee.
- Someone (presumably an enterprising member of the Aurellian resistance) slits open several down pillows and quilts and fills Tucker Belmont’s Billiards Room (which used to be the manor’s chapel) with black and gray feathers.
- Heron’s receives a shipment of a scandalous (and therefore very popular) erotic novel from Clovenne. Minette claims to detail the story of the anonymous author’s time at Creche and her relationship with an older female classmate.
- Danu Llewellyn returns from Castyll and launches his Braddon study group (canceled the week before, due to the illness of so many Aurellians) on Friday evening, beginning with passages from the first book of Canwyn. Meetings are conducted in Aurellian, though all are welcome.
Weather: Humid during the morning, scattered thunderstorms throughout the evening. High of 84.
- Robor Howell teaches Pinyon at the Temple on Saturday afternoon.
- Travelling musicians set up in Ceddon’s Bounty and an impromptu dance is held on the main floor.
