Who: The pairing from hell Eli Bryant and Tawny Strange
When: Monday evening.
Where: Gotham City, New Jersey
What: What do you thinks gonna happen when the Scarecrow and the Joker team up?
Rating: Um. P-13? Things explodify.
The last thing Eli had expected when coming onto the boards yesterday was to come face-to-face with the female reincarnate of the Joker. The Joker. To say he and Crane were pleased with this was an understatement, and Eli was even more pleased to observe that in regards to separating themselves from their head mates, Tawny seemed to be like in mind to him. Yes, they were going to get along very well, he was sure of it. He'd wasted no time in setting out to meet Tawny at the restaurant she'd specified in Gotham, and while he took the time to marvel at what he was walking into (really, he'd heard all about this but he'd hardly let himself believe that it was actually here) he made sure to arrive at the Italian place in a timely manner. This was the first time in a long time that Eli Bryant had been excited by something that wasn't going into a beaker.
They'd spent a, by his obscure standards at least, rather enjoyable couple hours talking 'shop' and getting to know each other before they decided they didn't want to waste anymore time. The prospects of their particular combination were endless and neither he nor Tawny seemed to want to let it go to waste. He liked this girl already, she said she'd only had the Joker for a few months but she could have fooled him, he would have guessed years. Yes, they had a lot of potential. She had a lot of potential, Eli and Crane had every intention of drawing it out of her like a finely brewed toxin. The Crane in him idly wondered how she would react under their particular brand of medicine, but he pushed that out his mind as fast as it had come. She wasn't ready for their level, but she would be. It was fast approaching evening when they finally left the restaurant and set out into Gotham, walking side by side down a virtually abandoned street and Eli couldn't help himself.
"Nice night," he drawled, grinning to himself as he draped an arm across her shoulders. "Perfect setting for committing a crime."
