Flash Reactionary: Field Trip to the Moon! WHO: The Doctor and everybody who signed up that they wanted to go. WHEN: Monday, November 18 WHERE: The TARDIS, then the MOON! WHAT: Just like the subject header says - Field Trip to the Moon! 🌙
The Doctor arranged for the field trip to be at a time that is best for everybody's schedules - 'round about 6:00 pm. Meet at the EPS parking lot to find the TARDIS right in the middle for everybody to see. If your character has never been in the TARDIS before, feel free to Ooooo and Ahhhhh... the Doctor loves to watch people's reactions.
Everybody here? Good. Right. The Doctor will throw a few switches and in a matter of moments, they materialize on the surface of the moon. Everybody gets an orange space suit, provided by the TARDIS, though One Volunteer finds theirs is ill fitting... either too large or too big. It's only an inconvenience though, it doesn't hurt you during your space walk.
The Doctor will tell people NOT to bring home souvenirs, but if you do, he really doesn't care. Just don't take anything radioactive. Take photos, but don't be an idiot and post them publicity for the non-Displaced to see.
They'll go to the sites of some of the moon landings, and check out some of the stuff that was left behind , including the Apollo 16 LRV Moon Buggy. No, you can't take home the Moon Buggy, though the Doctor will admit that he's always wanted to.
One Volunteer to find out that space travel doesn't agree with them and gets sick.
One Volunteer to accidentally get left behind when the TARDIS leaves, only for them to return a few minutes later to pick them up after they realize they're not around.
They'll take the scenic route home, traveling through space. There's an oxygen bubble around the TARDIS so people can just open the door to lean out. If you're REALLY adventurous, the Doctor will show you how to climb outside the TARDIS to stand on the roof, but he'll be watching you very carefully to make sure nobody falls. One Volunteer may lean too far and teeter, only to have the Doctor grab you and pull you back to safety.
