Attention Hogwart's Graduating Class of 1998
As you know, you are eligible for internships, along with tutoring for those who were unable to attend classes last year. Your internship needs to be registered with Hogwarts not later than Friday to receive proper credit for your education through this program. Congratulations to those of you who have already accepted and started these positions.
NEWTS will be given in June, December, and May. For those who feel ready to take your exams, you must also register by this Friday. Taking classes at Hogwarts, for those who have missed the year, will also be an option. Please carefully read the transportation and housing arrangements below before registering for your sessions.
Attention Hogwart's 5th - 7th Year Students
Your parents have received owls on this matter. Due to the extensive damage to the school, a result of the battle, all 5th through 7th year students will live off grounds. The floo network will be authorized for use by those students from locations to be disclosed privately to the families of those concerned. Students from the class of 1998 who did not have the opportunity to attend or need to review for NEWTS will also need to commute to the school.
Draco Malfoy Arraigned on Attempted Murder Charges
The wizarding media surrounded the Ministry of Magic yesterday as the hearings began for several of those charged with death eater activities. The youngest man charged, Draco Malfoy, Hogwart's class of 1998, is a marked death eater, and heir to the Malfoy estate. While most of the death eaters have been arraigned on charges stemming from the battle, Mr. Malfoy faces attempted murder charges for the 1997 death of former Hogwart's headmaster, Albus Dumbledore. Attached to that charge is a conspiracy charge. Due to his wealth and reputation, bond was denied and he is set to be held in Azkaban until trial. The subdued Malfoy, only nodded and plead not guilty, throughout the proceeding.
While Draco Malfoy was held over, Lucius Malfoy, his father, received his bond along with several other death eaters who seem to have smaller parts in the war and face lesser charges than the youngest death eater. While in Azkaban, prisoners are able to help with the restoration project. A spokesperson for the ministry has said that 'It gives the prisoners a sense of accomplishment even while in our custody. Although the labor is quite physical, we are very pleased with all they have done.'

Hey guys!
Sorry for my inactivity. Finals are going on though Saturday afternoon. After that, I'll be back full force.
Ron says he wants to go on a date with Hermione soon...maybe bring Harry and Ginny along as long as they don't snog in front of him. He needs something happy after that funeral and before he and Hermione go to Australia.
Any ideas for plots with Astoria when I get done with finals? She has none right now :(

Neville is here! And ready to become one of Kingsley's special auror boys along with Harry and Ron. Neville is still a bit of a klutz and causes accidents but he always has your back in a fight. He has extremely old fashioned manners so it should be fun to see how he does socially.
I have him posted at Fred's funeral for anyone who wants to chat him up over there.

Hello everyone. :) Most people call me Cathy. I'm really looking forward to playing with you all in this game. It looks very interesting with people who enjoy playing their characters.
I'll be bringing in Blaise Zabini. He's had an interesting life, not that he'd ever tell anyone half of it. Blaise mostly kept to himself during his school years. He did his best to help the younger years without people noticing because he felt they were innocents and shouldn't suffer. He didn't fight in the final battle, nor was he ever able to cast an unforgiveable in class. He DOES NOT care for muggleborns or muggles and their influence on the wizarding world, and has a special place of loathing in his heart for one Hermione Granger. Blaise is hoping to become a healer, and is known, amongst those who know him, for his ability to keep a secret. He is also uneasy around and frightened of aurors.
Plotwise! Well I guess I'm looking forward to some interaction with fellow Slytherins. Also, anyone he might run into while studying to be a healer. I imagine it's possible that his mother's antics might cause him problems. Or if anyone is interested, we could delve into who his REAL biological father might be. He is listed as pureblood, and I don't see Esme as going with anyone who's not at least a half blood. Other than those possibilities... just give me a poke, I'm up for pretty much anything. I can be reached on AIM most often, either under apatheticevilx or minicaimens.

Hello, Ally 2 here.
I will be trying to post a time line for every month we play in real time. I hope this will be easier to access than the journal archives as we don't seem to be using subject lines in our posts. There was a bit of a mix up for plot events on May 7th as people (myself included) forgot to change the date over when they copied a header. Basically everything that shows up after a mod plot post for a certain day, I put under that day. The posts are in no particular order but are grouped by RPG or journal entry.

Lauren here with muse #3, and a new muse for me - Hestia Jones nee Stevens. Hestia is 34, and has been named the new interim head of the DMLE. She was a Gryffindor, class of 1984, and is a muggleborn. She's tough as nails, fearless and fairly bright. She and Kingsley came up in the ranks together as aurors. She also was married to a muggle named Bryan Jones for three years before he was killed by Death Eaters three years ago.
So, plot? Backstory? She will be working with those who want DMLE careers in the MoM internships.

Hey guys,
This Bee with her third kidlet, Gwen Montgomery. She's a sopon to be 7th year Slytherin, class of 1999. She's bouncy, bright, very gossipy, and a bit of a nympho, so I apologise in advance if she annoys your kids. She will very likely be trying hard to ignore what just happened, because she doesn't want to talk about is, and would much rather go on about happy topics. Gwen's pretty good friends with Pansy, Theo and most of the older Slytherins, though I hope some of those her age as well. She wasn't involved in the war, because she'd rather save her own behind, plus Voldemort killed her baby brother so she doesn't particularly like the lunatic. That's not to say she favours the DA or anything, because she finds them to be insufferable twats, but yeah. Plus, she's still a purist at heart.

I'm about to head off for work, so I'll keep my intro rather short at present. I'm 23, a Graphic Designer still in school. I RP like it's my life and do table-top gaming otherwise. I'm a total nerd and love geek-gasming on AIM...keeps the time between tagging interesting ;)

Hey guys!
I thought I should intro myself, because I've just been really lazy :/ I'm Bee and I shall be playing Mandy Brocklehurst and Theodore Nott. Mandy's DA (joined this last year)and helped fight in the battle, though only after she helped usher some of the kids to Hogsmeade. She probably want that brilliant, but it'd be good to have some people she ran across or tried to hex her. I'm all fopr ending her in the hospital wing, though dunno if how minor.
Then Theo's a 7th year Slytherin who as far as anyone's aware was in Hogsmeade during the battle. He was involved but only in a minor capacity fighting for the DE's I'm still not sure how he's gotten out but yeah...

Hi everyone! I'm Alex and have one Narcissa Malfoy and one Irma Pince.
To make this simple, they are very much there canon selves (obviously :P). Narcissa is very fond of her family, subtle, cunning, determined, will not have her family pulled apart. So if anything were to happen to them she would be DEVASTATED. Well, already more than she is given that Bellatrix has just died. She is currently relying on Lucius and Draco to keep her going. She will probably do anything to keep them safe too from re-friending Andromeda to bribing Ministry Officials.
Irma, is still the snarky librarian from Hogwarts who is always yelling at students to be quiet. She has worked there for the majority of her life though she hates children- well loud ones. She grew up in a family that taught 'children should be seen and not heard'. During the Battle of Hogwarts she stood gaurd in front of the Library and hexed anyone who came even to the end of the Hallway. She is very protective of her books.

Hi,
I'm Ally with Kingsley. (Now there are two Ally's or is that Allies, this could be confusing) My real job takes up most of my weekdays so I will probably be posting mostly on weekends just FYI. Anyway, Kingsley still thinks very much like an auror so he is pretty active and not your average posturing politician. I am excited to explore his background a bit this game and how his past really affects him and who he has become.
As for people he interacts with I see the Order as becoming his family and them being the only people he trusts right now as far as an uncorrupted people goes. I also have him as once being a good friend of Amelia Bones so he would at least know of Susan. He probably knows a lot of people so if you think he might know someone you are connected to just ask.
And I am very open to plots, ideas and discussions so please ask.

Hello everyone! I am Ana and I am playing Susan Bones here.
She is in her 7th year and will be graduating soon. She was in Hufflepuff and on the quidditch team as a chaser. Her best mates are Ernie, Justin and Hannah and she has a crush on Ernie but ha not told him yet.
Susan fought in the final battle and was active in the DA since her 4th year. She wants to be an Auror and will apply for both Aurorship and Healership as a fall back. She wants to be an Auror and I want her to get into aurorship since I am playing another Susan right now who is a healer and I want her to be different.
Umm, her father died in the second war, during the winter, so she is still quite sad and depressed about that even though her side did just win the battle and the war.
