Yikes! I'm alive, I really am. I've been so busy making costumes (for no apparent reason, my husband so bluntly pointed out) that I haven't had time to post much.. or watch Lost for that matter!!
Anyway, I'm back now for the most part. So plot! plot! plot! Or I'll eat you. No, really I will. Or I'll send Fenrir to do it. And hey! Look at that! I'm rambling! It's fun, you should all try it sometime.

Hey everybody! Sorry for the delay-- rl kinda kicked me in the teeth for a bit, but I'm back! And should be active! Hurrah!
So, of course, I bring you Sirius Black. I shouldn't have to say much more than that, but hey. He's gorgeous and popular and right now pretty hard-out on the luck front-- he left home this summer and basically has no money and is an angsty little emopuppet who's trying hard to hide it from everybody else. So far he's been doing a smack-on job, too.

So, yesterday I come home from work and guess what? Somehow, the phone jack broke off the wall! This leaves me with no phone or DSL, absolutely no way for me to get online at home except through my blackberry but the internet that way isn't the best.
All my tagging till hopefully Friday will be done from 8:30Am and 4:30pm while I'm at work. Though the tagging will be slow as I actually do work during this time too.
P.S: Rogue, when I get back on regularly, we can do the Narcissa and Bella thread. Unless you would prefer I just put the thread up and we just get to it whenever. |

Hey Guys.
So things have been a bit scattered and for that I apologize. Things will be resuming order now. Haha. Now we have lost a few characters namely: Sirius, Narcissa and Rodolphus. We have also gained Alecto and a new Narcissa so if everyone can update their friends list below.
Also I know its some what hypocritical at this point but we need people to update regularly. I've been scrolling through and some of these characters include:
Theodore McKay
Charity Burbage
Alastor Moody
Dorcas Meadowes
Everyone else, thanks for doing a phenomenal job in keeping this going. If you have any friends that are at a loss for RP some new characters would definitely keep things intersting.
This is also the chance if you want to drop a character, or pick one up please post here. If the above four do not update within the next little while we will open them up to new people.

Hiya folks. It is Mel. I'm adding Alecto Carrow to my group (Remus, Fabian, and Zamira if you didn't know already) and just wanted to introduce her... I don't know if I can or not yet. I mean, I noticed her journal was added to the community journals a few days ago so I took initiative. If this isn't allowed then it never happened!
Anyway, on the chance that it's permissible, I just wanted to get the word out there to the other DEs of the comm (*poke* There are some out there, right?) that she's around should anyone need her. Or even if you don't. If you want some more information on her, it would be HERE.

Hiya folks. I was just wondering if anybody wanted to plot with any of my characters. Fabian and Zamira have had a pretty limited existence so far, but Remus is open for plotting too. And, of course, those of you who have already been plotting with them are more than welcome to continue plotting with any of my characters. I'd just like to get Fabian and Zamira exposed to a few more people. It couldn't hurt Remus either. So if anyone wants to beat any of them up, hex them, curse them, tell them they're ugly, be friends, anything. Just drop me a line here or on AIM/MSN. |

About Me: I'm a 22 year old graduate of the Savannah College of Art and Design. I'm an actor living in MA and planning a wedding. My fiance is a freelance writer and we're also working on a novel together. I've been RPing and modding Harry Potter games since 10th grade and I really miss Marauders. I'm excited to be here.
About Moody: Moody just lost his pregnant wife a few weeks back and is on suspension with the ministry. He can only respond to emergencies and is teaching the Auror training courses. If your character is planning on training as an Auror, they could have a fun relationship.
He drinks too much, has anger issues, and still has both eyes and legs (for now). His newest scar is on his face from the deatheater he beat to death (hence the probation).

Heya folks. I guess this is for the mods and our Fenrir. As far as the full moons... Are we following the current lunar calendar or am I supposed to find some website where I can use the moon phases for 1977? Somewhere I do have a link (or did...) of a site, but honestly it would be easier for me to use the current moon phases. There's already been a mention of a full moon on the 26th. I can only assume that it's the '77 one, since the full moon this month is actually tonight. I figure with two werewolves and a marauder now we should be on the same page. |

Hey there guys!
Just a quick update, we now have a Gideon Prewett as well as a Marlene MacKinnon, alas we also have to say good-bye to Antonin. This of course all means everyone needs to update their friend lists!
ALSO: FOR THE DANCE ON SATURDAY
There will be one main post for the dance, however any subsections and scenes with specific characters should have their own subsection posts. Just mark them as part of the dance and try to keep the continuity with time.
SPEAKING OF:
Continuity is a beautiful thing. As such, when referencing other people or dropping names, try and use the character list names, it makes things more interesting. You will also notice that certain names have been selected and added to the Quidditch teams so people have a frame of reference. <3

Hi there everyone,
One of your friendly MODs here, this post is a basic update so everyone knows what is going on. So without further ado shall we get down to buisness?
1) Time: There are been some confusion on what time period we are running here, it is real time. So today is Saturday December 6, 1977. So everyone should be using this time frame from now on okies? :)
2) The Daily Prophet: Once a week the Daily Prophet will be printing articles so we can have the school and adults linked closer together. If anyone wants articles to be published in the Daily Prophet send them to (thedarkmarksrpg@hotmail.co.uk) you can of course publish them under random author names. Please read the Prophet Posts!!!! This will help keep everyone updated on general plots, alrighty? :)
3) Quidditch: If and when we have enough people for teams (aka more than Theodore and James) we will have a chart for the teams and organize a way to play games. If you want your characters to be on a team please let us know.
4) Characters: We have a bunch of new characters so everyone make sure to update the friendlists by entering your username below.
