It was Sunday. Sunday afternoon, twelve thirty. Lunchtime. That meant that Andi was about to have guests.Guest, actually. Just one, a boy, teenaged or early twenties. It was like they could sense when she was making food. It was practically a proven scientific fact.

Because in nearly three years, she'd never had a Sunday lunch with just herself and Teddy (holidays didn't count). So, as always, she set an extra spot at the table, put a few extra drinks in the fridge, and filled a tin with biscuits. She took the chicken casserole out of the oven and set it by the window to cool, washing her hands and sitting down at the kitchen table.

The trap was set, now all she had to do was wait.
