So sorry for my suddenly MIA-ness! The plague (er, man cold) ran through my house. And as mom, while also suffering, I had plenty of care taking to do over the last couple of weeks.
But! I am back. And I have energy again to do more than mope and moan and spray Lysol. Tomorrow morning---or perhaps this evening!---marks my determination to sort myself and Elysande back in.
So, welcome new players! I'm M, and looking forward to writing and plotting!

I know I just posted a few days ago for plotting, but now that he's officially in game, I'm going to touch base!
This is Alistair Bryce, exknight from a highborn family. He's honorable, and loyal, and in general a good guy with a lot of morals to fall back upon. And if he didn't feel like it was the only way to protect his family, he wouldn't be here. He came to Belwyn with all of the others escaping their kingdom, but was quick to join a caravan as a sellsword/guard for some of the merchants who take their wears out.
He just got back after being on the road for a few weeks.

Hi, I'm bringing in the Snitch, name Basil Huntley. He was a court huntsman's only son, then in his late teens entered court/castle life, with his father eventually taking up the Grand Huntsman post. Basil's something of a chaotic figure, he usually doesn't take anything too seriously and has a pretty crude sense of humor, is a bit of flirt, and also is rather selfish. He was with Jordan's usual retinue and one of his confidants. Eventually, he took over his father's title. Someone (open role!) in the court overheard Basil grumbling quite dark stuff to himself about Jordan's refusal to feed a starving populace, and that's when he got in on the plot. He was an asset to the plan, as he knew Jordan's habits, but when Jordan spoke of elevating him in the court and giving him more wealth, he abandoned the conspiracy and told the king all about it (while really drunk).
To answer the question - Do the other conspirators know Basil is the Snitch? Absolutely. I've established about halfway through he journey to Belwyn, any number of the travelers realized his stories didn't add up, and he strangely joined the group a few days after they fled. There was enough evidence (sign right up). Basil's a woodward for a minor lord around Belwyn now and tricksy when it comes to the forests. If you threaten to kill or maim him, that's where he'll likely run. I'm up for enemies galore and 'neutral' or even favorable relations. Check the taverns for him where he likes to wench. As far as plot, I'm easy, so mostly anything goes.

Hello! My name is Amber.
I'm considering bringing in a man named Alistair Bryce. He is on the run, fleeing a death sentence like most others, only he was never involved in the attempted murder. Alistair was a Knight, and the younger brother of Phillip Bryce who is the head of their family and the one who was involved in the whole mess. Being the dutiful “spare son” that he is, to avoid his entire family being stripped of their titles and land, he fessed up to the crime and had his brother very formally disown him from the family. It was basically a last attempt to make sure that his mother and younger siblings weren’t punished for his older brothers mistakes.
So, that is where he is from. He’s a nobleman, but I imagine his family was a very honor bound and dutiful house which were largely unafraid of working hard. He’s a Knight, and I imagine rather largely skilled in combat, but he’ll take any job he could possibly get. Friends would be good too. Any sort of that stuff.

Hello, I'd love to work out some lines with everyone! Pippa was in on the plan to kill the king, wanting revenge for the death of her husband who was killed on the king's orders. She still has a lot of anger in her heart and struggles with both the loss of her husband and the failure of the plan. I'm still working on her, but I think she'll do some work as a seamstress of sorts. She's here to fill anything you need!

Hey, this is Bronwyn Parry filling the slot of The Servant aka the one who was prepared to hand over a cup of poisoned wine and not blink an eyelid. Trust me, she is very very conflicted about it and feels bad for her part in an attempted murder. However, she can't regret it.
Originally from a remote village in the North-East of Osthollow, Bronwyn moved to work in the Castle when she was fifteen and leaving her families farm behind her.
She became entranced by the castle, the people and the old king who she was inordinately fond of. As the dichotomy between the haves and have-nots grew, Bronwyn began to resent the new king. However, it was when the crop failed and her family lost the farm and her brother a little later lost his life due to the famine, that things changed. Bronwyns grief turned to anger yet she was late in becoming embroiled in the plot. A sweet, likeable young woman when she fled the castle with the others, she stole three goats to take with them.
When you're on the run for murder, whats a little animal rustling between friends?
Settled now in Belwyn, she tends her goats and sells their milk and cheese in the marketplace so chances are you've seen her around. I'm looking for all lines and possible connections so throw them at me!

Hello all! This is Quinn, one of two Meadowcrest citizens currently in game. Waves to the other! At the moment, he's wondering why all of these outsiders have moved into the area. He doesn't really like any noblemen but there are a few exceptions. People of noble birth have pretty much treated him like dirt so he doesn't take to them very well. He's the local blacksmith so he deals with them a lot, hammering out armor, weaponry and all that.
Once you get past the ogre like exterior guarding his fragile heart, he's genuine and kind. Keeps his friends close, enemies closer. He's in his forties and single, which is fairly horrific but he hasn't had the best of luck with women. But I think something's in the works that might change that.
Looking for lines of any kind at this point! I'm all ears! Excited to see the game open!

Hello all!
This is Beatrice. She's a well bred lady of 20, as yet unmarried, much to her and her family's dismay. They kept holding out for a better offer and now she might be too old to get any offers at all. Alas for the life of a woman of high birth. She's getting a bit more rebellious as her suitors get older and older. She has no desire to be married to a man as old as her father. Or older, as the case may be. She loves to ride, and has taken to sneaking out whenever possible, riding through the woods and visiting the nearby towns. She dresses down a bit when doing so, not wanting to be seen as a lady of wealth alone. But she's terrible at it. Anyone with eyes in their head can tell what she is.
I am open for any and ALL encounters, friendships, whatever your heart may desire.

Hello everyone! This is Merthin and he is the younger brother of King Jordan and Osthollow's former prince. I imagine him to be one of the first to conspire against Jordan. He was never on good terms with his brother and was continuously belittled by him. However, he adored his father (the former king) and wished his brother would have carried out royal duties in the way of Matthias.
He still has connections to Osthollow, but I don't know if he's ready to do anymore conspiring. For now he lives a quiet life and often pesters Wesley, the advisor. I'd love to work out any more connections! Friends, enemies, whatever, I want everything! I am greedy for lines. :)
