Who: Sam & Meg
What: having drinks
When: Thursday, while the Castiels are talking.
Where: Observation deck, at least for starters, since there's alcohol there.
Warnings: TBD
Two Castiels. One injured, one human, both of them male. It was enough to make Sam's head spin, although she'd recovered enough from the shock to find the two of them combined... well, far funnier than it had any real right to be. It was like watching a tennis game, in a way: she kept glancing from one to the other, and each of them was so very Cas-like that if not for the order they spoke in, and certain other subtle indicators, she might've had trouble keeping track of which one was which. She really hoped the newest one would hold onto that trenchcoat for a while, because it set him apart from the other, and also because it was comfortingly familiar.
It had occurred to her that if they wanted, they could probably pull off a switch without anyone being any the wiser-- but she didn't really think they'd do that, unless it was useful in battle somehow, maybe. Not just for the sake of fooling the people around them and having a laugh. If nothing else, the one of them would probably object to that for Meg's sake.
Sam didn't have any idea what it would be like to be dating someone and have another version of them show up, but she imagined it would be pretty awkward. She wasn't dating anyone at the moment, but this train of thought had led her to consider the possibility that there was more than one Jesse. Then she realized that there was probably a female version of him somewhere-- two of them, even, unless her male self was into males. And if she'd thought her head was spinning before... well. That drink she'd offered for Meg's sake was beginning to seem even more appealing.
She arrived at the bar and grabbed a bottle of the same stuff she'd been drinking since she'd got here. She'd never established for certain that it was actually whiskey, but it was close enough to work. She grabbed a couple of glasses too, and sat down to wait for Meg. She'd yet to really spend any time with Cas's future girlfriend, or even determine exactly what Meg was. She'd gathered that Meg wasn't human, just from the food-testing incident, but there were still an awful lot of possibilities left. Whatever she was, it was probably about time they met, since Cas was important to both of them, albeit in different ways.
