Who: Aikanáro and Big Macintosh
Where: The pub
What: Match up

Rating: TBD
Open: No

After a long day of working on the farm for nearly 12 hours, Mac decided that it was time to go home. Before he went home, however, he wanted a drink. He hadn't really taken to drinking all that much, especially after the spectacle he made when he'd gotten drunk with George, but tonight he wanted a beer before going home. He knew that Tony wasn't drinking so he didn't want to take any of the alcohol into the penthouse.

He also thought that maybe he'd give AJ and Tony a little alone time so that they could have the whole house to themselves for a while. Things seemed to be going rather well for those two and Mac was happy that his sister was happy, but sometimes their carrying on was too loud for Mac to tolerate.

He walked into the pub and went over behind the bar, picking up two bottles of AJ's brew that happened to be there. It really was pretty good stuff. Definitely better than the hard stuff he'd tried. And he knew that he wouldn't get really drunk off of it. Even two of them. Once he had them open, he made his way over to one of the tables and took a seat, looking around as he sipped his beer slowly.

Aikanáro wasn't much one for drinking, for he liked to hold tight to his thoughts and memories. He wasn't much one for sharing his feelings, because it seemed to him almost as if that were all that he had left of her. His memories. And he relived them in his mind every moment of every day.

But they did have very nice mozzarella cheese sticks at the pub, and he'd grown quite fond of those.

So today, he made his way to the pub, having decided to eat as many of the delicious little fried delicacies as he could stuff down his throat. He sat at the pub, and ordered a juice and a double order to start with, then looked at the man sitting alone at a table. He looked rather like Tuor, but he was quite certain it was not his cousin's husband.

"Good day, sir."

Mac smiled at the man and nodded, raising his beer in a sort of wave. "Good day to you, too." His drawl was extremely obvious. He took a sip of the beer before setting it down on the table.

"You look very much like my cousin's husband," he said with a smile. "Although you are enough different that I did not mistake you. May I sit with you? I am Aikanáro. Or you may call me Aegnor, if it is easier for you. I know Quenya can be difficult."

Mac chuckled and tilted his head. "You must mean Tuor. He's a pretty decent fella. I don't know why we all look alike." He sipped his beer and nodded, using his foot to push the other chair out.

"Sure, come on over." He smiled. "I'm Macintosh but most people call me Mac. And I think Aegnor'll be the easier name for me to say for sure."

"It is strange, indeed."

Aikanáro took a seat, and sipped at his juice. Like his kin, he preferred a healthy lifestyle - with the exception of his mozzarella sticks - and juice far more than alcohol. And there was a lovely variety of juice here. He enjoyed it very much.

"Do you prefer Mac, then? I do not mind saying Macintosh if you prefer it. Where do you come from?"

"Mac is fine." He nodded and sipped his beer again. "I'm from a place called Equestria. I used to be a pony before I showed up here." He smiled again, setting the beer down and leaning back a little bit in his chair.

"I'm sorry. I thought you said you were a pony."

This place was strange, to be sure. But certainly not that strange, that one would find horses and ponies appearing as Men!

Mac nodded. "That I did. I even still have my cutie marks." He chuckled. Most people reacted that way when he told them. "I had hooves and a tail and everything. Got here and I look like this." He shrugged.

"What...what is a cutie mark?"

He'd never heard of any such thing.

"What a strange place, to transform you, so."

"A cutie mark is this thing on my hindquarters. Kind of tells people what I'm good at. I got apple halves on mine. AJ's got three apples on hers." He chuckled. "My little sister Bloom ain't got hers yet. At least she didn't before I left."

"Ah, I see," he answered, although he certainly didn't. "Like a tattoo, then?" He'd heard of such things, although he didn't have any himself. "So what do...apple halves say you're good at?"

Mac nodded. "It's kind of like a tattoo, yeah." He smiled. "I work at the family orchard. And I'm real strong. I could even haul an entire house all by myself." He grinned proudly before sipping his beer.

"I have never worked on a farm," he mused. "I have always been a soldier and little more, although I think that such a life might have suited me well. I should have liked to know more peace than I did."

"That don't sound good at all. You did nothing but fighting?" He sipped his beer.

"Well...when I was young, in Valinor, there was no fighting. It was bliss. But then...well, later, when we returned to Middle Earth, aye. I was a soldier, and that was all I did."

"I'm sorry you had to deal with that." Mac nodded. "That one place sounds like it was nice, though. No fighting and stuff, huh?"
