That was so clever, lyv. Just the idea of Harry staying with the snake, really becoming one more than just physically, then the transition back to recognizing human form (eating with manners, getting dressed, etc). And of course Severus is perfect-sort of bipolar about it: cares for the snake and wants to detest Harry, failing spectacularly of course. Really original and so well done.
