This is one of my favorite stories of the fest. If HBP and DH had gone like this, I don’t think I’d ever put them down. The pace of the relationship was brilliantly well done, with characterizations that felt real. I have no words to offer to explain how content I am after reading this, even tired as I am.

This was one hell of a well-crafted work, and I’m sure I’ll return to read it time and time again.

Wow... that was really amazing. One of the reasons I don't read a lot of Snarry is because most in most fics, Snape gets really OOC throughout the course of the story, and by the end, you're wondering if it's even Snape at all.

I love how he's snarky and rude and believable through the whole story, and he changes naturally due to the circumstances rather than because the writer wants fluff.

I like that you jumped right into the main plot device. And I loved young Snape's voice here and how Harry could not let it go. I liked the whole concept surrounding page 447, kind of like time travel only better, very clever. Oh and Snape was actually heart-broken when Harry didn't write back! That first detention was wonderful! Young Snape and adult Snape matched perfectly. I like the way you tied everything in with canon. I absolutely loved the depth of Snape and Harry's relationship, even without a bunch of fluff. A marvelous story, indeed!
